Description
The Senior Quality Assurance Analyst leads the overall testing team - providing leadership, oversight, direction, test case reviews, to the other QA engineers on an Agile Release Train (ART) in the marketing portfolio, ensuring Features and Stories meet acceptance criteria and SAFe built-in quality standards. This role will focus on testing automation as a Tricentis Tosca subject matter expert (both AS1 & AS2 certifications are required for this role). Additional responsibilities include maintaining testing evidence for each test as proof of validation, evaluating testing effectiveness, and providing improvement feedback for testing processes. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of the designated office in Atlanta or Birmingham and be willing to be present at the office Monday-Thursday. The candidate may telecommute on Fridays.
Responsibilities
• Provide leadership, oversight, direction, and test case reviews to other QA engineers on an Agile Release Train
• Define and execute test strategies aligned to Stories and Features
• Support backlog refinement with testable acceptance criteria
• Participate in PI Planning, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt
• Own defect tracking, validation evidence, and release readiness
• Subject Matter Expert for testing automation within the team
• Provide input on resourcing to reduce bottlenecks
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree preferred; 5+ years QA experience; Tricentis Tosca AS1 & AS2 certification required
Knowledge/Skills/Attributes
• Candidate must possess current Tricentis Tosca Fundamentals − Automating web application testing (AS1 - Formerly called Automation Specialist Level 1) & Tricentis Tosca Fundamentals − Optimizing test automation with centralized test data (AS2 – Formerly called Automation Specialist Level 2) certifications
• Strong analysis skills with ability to identify and document test plans, defects, and results
