Plant Material Handler – Plant Watson
Job Summary
This position is responsible for issuing, receiving, returning, and shipping materials; while providing excellent customer service to the plant. The Material Handler is responsible for completing required transactions in MAXIMO to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with applicable internal control processes and procedures.
The Material Handler will assist with cycle counts and various other inventory related tasks. The Material Handler will coordinate/maintain repairs and purchases for plant tools.
Additionally, the Material Handler will be responsible for maintaining housekeeping in the warehouse; while embracing a safe work environment. The Material Handler will operate warehouse equipment such as forklift and pallet jack; while stocking, loading, unloading, and moving material.
Job Requirements:

- Must be a Team Player
- Proficient in MAXIMO is preferred
- Industrial warehouse inventory experience preferred
- Forklift and bridge crane certifications are strongly preferred; however, employees will be required to obtain these certifications after hiring in accordance with job duties.
- Ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment
- Ability to work in stressful situations
- Microsoft Office Products: Outlook, Excel, Word are required
Job Responsibilities:
- Issue inventory items
- Return inventory items
- Move freight, stock, or other materials to and from storage or production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, containers, etc. to appropriate storage areas.
- Manage plant tool area to ensure tools are properly stored, maintained, repaired, replenished, etc.
- Prepare packages for shipping
- Arrange appropriate shipping methods
- Maintain housekeeping in warehouses
Applicants must pass a Warehouse aptitude test and if selected for the position, you will be required to pass a Warehouse physical abilities test.
