Easterseals PORT Health (ESPH) is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Chief People Officer (CPO). As a valued member of our collaborative and supportive team the VP of HR leads the HR functions and initiatives in support of the ESPH mission and operational goals.
What You’ll Do
As the CPO, you will oversee the development and execution of the Human Resource team and the functions that support the team members across North Carolina and Virginia. The CPO will be a strategic partner across all programs fostering relationships with stakeholders ensuring ESPH strategies are aligned with current and future needs.

based on your skills and experience. This is a full time, onsite position Monday - Friday with some hybrid, evening and weekend flexibility. Travel within the service area is required. We also offer benefits for benefits-eligible positions.

What We’re Looking For
To join our team as the CPO you must have experience with Human Resource disciplines, budget management, gap analysis, reporting as well as project management. We also require:
- Bachelors in Business or Healthcare Administration; Master’s preferred
- Minimum of ten years progressive HR leadership experiences in varied disciplines
- Experience in non-profit, healthcare or social services preferred
