Training Analyst – Consulting
Position Overview
The Training Analyst provides analytical, consulting, and operational support to the Consulting function in Training Support Services. This role serves as a key link between business needs, training strategy, and system execution. It does so by gathering and analyzing requirements, evaluating training data, improving processes, and supporting the design and implementation of effective training solutions.
The Training Analyst collaborates with consultants, subject matter resources, and stakeholders across departments to ensure training is aligned with business objectives and the system training model, while driving consistency, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Business & Training Analysis
- Elicit, document, and validate business and training requirements in partnership with consultants and stakeholders.
- Analyze training and operational data to identify trends, gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities.
- Use data-driven insights to support prioritization, planning, and decision-making.
- Provide ongoing project support to Training Consultants.
- Support planning and strategy sessions through data gathering, analysis, and recommendations.
- Identify opportunities for systemization, optimization, and ILT-to-eLearning conversions.
- Evaluate existing training and support processes to identify inefficiencies and duplication.
- Recommend and support process improvements aligned with governance standards.
- Identify duplicate or outdated courses and support streamlining efforts.
- Support LearningSOurce maintenance activities, including course reviews, recategorizations, and deactivations.
- Ensure alignment across LearningSOurce, SharePoint, and Monday.com.
Consulting & Program Support
- Provide ongoing project support to Training Consultants.

Process Improvement & Governance
- Evaluate existing training and support processes to identify inefficiencies and duplication.

Systems & Data Management
- Support LearningSOurce maintenance activities, including course reviews, recategorizations, and deactivations.
- Ensure alignment across LearningSOurce, SharePoint, and Monday.com.
- Collect, organize, and manage training data and materials for consultants and stakeholders.
Documentation & Communication
- Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Support clear coordination between consultants, business partners, and leadership.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data.
- Experience gathering and documenting business or training requirements.
- Proficiency with Excel and familiarity with Learning Management Systems (e.g., LearningSOurce).
- Experience with collaboration and tracking tools such as SharePoint and Monday.com.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and support projects with competing deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
Preferred Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in education, business, organizational development, information systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in a training, learning, business analysis, consulting, or operational support role, with demonstrated experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business or training requirements.
