Registered Nurse to join our team at Henry's House in Burgaw, NC.

Your Role in Our Mission
As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for the overall safety and healthcare needs of all participants and staff in attendance at Henry's House, which provides respite care for residents. You will collaborate with the multidisciplinary clinical team, provide guidance to Medical Assistants, and ensure meticulous medical documentation is maintained for a safe and therapeutic environment. The work schedule varies, with occasional nights and weekends.

What We’re Looking For
- Must be a licensed Registered Nurse or any medical staff considered equivalent or higher
- Previous residential or school experience
- Ability to be on call 24 hours a day during respite stays
- Ability to work with a diverse group of people while demonstrating respect and consideration for all individuals including staff and participants
- Ability to communicate effectively and positively with staff members and participants in order to provide a safe and healthy environment
- Ability to enforce appropriate safety regulations and emergency policies and procedures
- Demonstrated crisis intervention skills
- Ability to identify and respond to environmental and other hazards related to daily respite activities
- Appreciation and respect for the outdoors
- Professionalism, enthusiasm, creativity and a sense of humor
