JOB SUMMARY
This role offers a dynamic opportunity to drive impactful analysis on both existing and innovative pricing products, helping the Company achieve its financial objectives and deliver exceptional value to customers. As a Pricing & Rates Analyst, you will be instrumental in modeling and evaluating customer rates, supporting regulatory initiatives, and shaping new pricing strategies. You’ll have the chance to monitor and visualize rate performance, collaborate on the design and rollout of new pricing products, and play a key part in preparing timely, accurate regulatory filings. Your analytical insights will support both internal teams and external stakeholders, making your expertise essential to the Company’s ongoing success.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- 4-year degree in technical/analytical field is preferred
- Advanced degree and/or certifications a plus but not required
- Expertise with excel and proficiency in at least one programming language
- Experience working with large datasets and generating data visualizations
- Utility industry experience preferred but not required
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to use data analysis and visualization to ascertain key takeaways, emerging risks and opportunities
- Ability to communicate data and findings clearly and succinctly to diverse audiences
- Capacity to understand, interpret, and apply cost-based pricing principles and rate design concepts.
- Effectiveness collaborating across domains to solve multi-dimensional problems

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and monitor existing rates to ensure that the present applicability, structure and format of rates are effective
- Produce comparisons to forecast, historical periods, and utility peers
- Perform analysis of customer behavior, usage trends, and bill impacts
- Respond to internal and external data requests
- Support rate design in associated regulatory filings including developing Minimum Filing Requirements (MFR’s)
- Assist the Company’s efforts toward the development and implementation of new pricing products to ensure successful outcomes and positive customer experiences
- Create innovative analyses, processes, and reporting that improves efficiency
You will be required to be in the office 4 days per week @ 241 Ralph McGill Blvd, Atlanta, GA.
