The FBA Capacity Management team is responsible for one of the most strategically critical and technically complex challenges in Amazon's supply chain: managing the inventory volume sent to and stored in the Amazon Fulfillment Network (AFN) across multiple sellers worldwide, while enabling sellers to grow at the pace they desire. Our team sits at the intersection of seller economics, network operations, and next-generation science — uniquely positioned to align incentives between Amazon and sellers to maximize GMS, optimize network health, and deliver a best-in-class seller experience.
We are looking for an entrepreneurial, results-oriented Principal Product Manager – Technical to lead and expand the Worldwide FBA Capacity Management platform. This is a rare opportunity to own one of Amazon's most impactful and technically sophisticated product platforms — one that directly influences billions of dollars in GMS, the experience of multiple sellers across various countries worldwide, and the operational efficiency of Amazon's global fulfillment network. In this role, you will drive the product strategy and roadmap for our capacity management platform — spanning seller-facing products, internal optimization tools, and the science systems that power them. You will work at the frontier of marketplace design, supply chain science, and AI — building products that balance seller growth with network stability at global scale.
Key job responsibilities
1.Own the platform roadmap for WW FBA Capacity Management and the next-generation unified global capacity experience powered by NGS and AI-driven agentic workflows.
2.Drive the evolution to Capacity 2.0 with multiple seller pathways: base limits, short-term and long-term reservation programs.
3.Build seller-facing products that provide transparency, control, and predictability — including self-serve capacity tools, proactive seller communication, and AI-powered capacity planning assistance.
4. Scale capacity management globally — partnering with science, tech, and marketplace business teams to continue enhancing platform capabilities across emerging markets and driving seller success especially during holiday peak season.
5. Lead cross-functional alignment across FBA, SCOT, Operations, and Retail teams on capacity formation, plan adherence, constraint-setting, and lever optimization — transforming manual, fragmented processes into automated, science-driven systems.
