Our vision is to build scalable, self-service capabilities that enable internal Amazon partner teams to innovate rapidly within Rufus / Alexa for Shopping (AFS), accelerating its evolution into the world's most helpful AI shopping assistant.
The Principal PMT for Partner Enablement owns the product strategy and execution for enabling internal Amazon partner teams (e.g., Your Orders, Payments, Amazon Business, Health, Grocery, Softlines, etc.) to independently build, evaluate, launch, and operate customer experiences on AFS. The role defines the multi-year roadmap for partner enablement capabilities, working backwards from partner and customer needs to reduce onboarding friction, improve launch velocity, and increase the number and quality of partner-delivered customer experiences.
Key job responsibilities

- Define and deliver platform capabilities that reduce partner onboarding effort and increase innovation velocity, including self-service evaluation, agent routing, configurable customer experience frameworks, and modular prompt architecture.
- Drive prioritization of which partner experiences AFS supports, working backwards from customer impact, strategic alignment, and platform readiness to make investment tradeoffs across competing opportunities.
- Partner closely with engineering, science, UX, and partner product teams to define product requirements, influence technical architecture, and deliver solutions that improve extensibility, reliability, and quality across the AFS ecosystem.
- Lead cross-functional execution to enable strategic partner launches, translating launch learnings into reusable platform capabilities that increase partner independence and accelerate future innovation.
- Interface regularly with Directors and VPs across AFS and partner organizations to align on product strategy, roadmap priorities, resource investments, and launch readiness, influencing decisions through PRFAQs, strategic narratives, and executive reviews.
- Own partner escalations and resolve complex cross-organizational issues impacting partner launches, platform adoption, or customer experience, balancing immediate customer needs with long-term platform health and scalability.
- Establish mechanisms, success metrics, and operational reviews to measure partner onboarding, self-service adoption, launch velocity, customer quality, and ecosystem health, using data to prioritize future investments and continuously improve the partner experience.
