Distribution Supervisor – Madison
NOTE: Successful Candidate must be located within a reasonable commuting distance of the Operating Headquarters for timely arrival during emergency response situations. Relocation assistance is available if needed.
JOB SUMMARY
This position is responsible for day-to-day distribution operations in the Madison Ga area as well as support for the Northeast Region. Duties include managing line crew personnel as related to overhead and underground distribution construction as well as storm restoration. Other duties include customer interactions, coordination with engineering, scheduling workload, and coordination with external partners.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Highschooldiplomaor equivalent;Further education and/ortraining preferred
Job Experience
- Minimum 7years of distribution constructionand/or distribution related experience in a power utility company AND knowledge of the construction, maintenance, and restoration of both overhead and underground systems.
- Knowledge ofandexperienceimplementingSection"0", Smith Driving System, NESC, Distribution Bulletins, DOPs, Tagging and Switching Procedures, Distribution Construction Standards, DOT requirements, environmental guidelines, and applicable OSHA regulations.
- Working knowledge of IBEW Local 84 Distribution MOA, Customer ServiceStandards,FranchiseManual, and applicableemployee-related policies and guidelines.
- Provensupervisorexperienceispreferred.
- DemonstratedleadershipinDistribution related field.
- Performancemanagement experience and/orinsightfulunderstanding of how to set clear expectations and holding others accountable.
- Preferred experience working within or understanding of matrix organizations(i.e. Regions, Training, DCC,Distribution Const.,E&C, Maintenance, & MTS, etc.).
- Demonstrated experience or ability to quickly learn applications including butnot limitedto: OFS, Oracle, ARMS, ARCOS, CSS,TCMS Web,Dist View, JETS, Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).

This position has been identified as a role that will require the use of a Georgia Power fleet vehicle. The following will be required if you are selected for this position :
- Must have at least one year of verifiable driving experience as a licensed driver (Must hold a valid driver’s license for the class vehicle to be operated. Driving permits are not typically considered a valid driver’s license).
- Must have no revocation of driving privileges within the 36 months prior to application, no convictions of major traffic violations (DUI, hit and run, reckless driving, etc.) within the 12 months prior to application, or any pending charges for a major traffic violation at the time of application.
