As a Senior Manager - Applied Science, you will be accelerating the evolution of science to personalize creatives to each shopper. You are able to quickly approach large ambiguous problems, turn high-level business requirements into mathematical models, identify the right solution approach, and contribute to the software development for production systems. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping strategy and addressing complex science problems while driving forward-thinking approaches. As a "hands-on" science leader, you will own defining the strategic science vision, have a long-term roadmap, establish the right science team structure, and lead your teams as they deliver production level models that execute on that vision. Successful candidates must thrive in fast-paced environments, which encourage collaborative and creative problem solving, and align research focuses with the Amazon's strategic needs

Our team, CreativeX Optimization, empowers advertisers to personalize the visual experience of their ads in real time. We apply advanced machine learning and generative AI to help advertisers build, identify, and understand what ad creatives work with their audiences. We develop customized CTR and CVR prediction models to help advertisers efficiently connect with shoppers across the web. We utilize generative models to understand shopper preferences across text, images, and videos.
