In this role, you’ll be at the center of driving AWS’s sales strategy, partnering directly with the Worldwide Specialist Sales Organization to gain a competitive edge. You’ll lead a Finance team and collaborate with senior Sales, Business Development, Engineering, and Finance leaders to build financial plans, inspect performance at scale, analyze large-scale investment opportunities, develop new go-to-market strategies, and identify opportunities for business growth. You will play key roles in both running the day-to-day business and helping drive strategic growth for the future.
You are a well-rounded performer and will play an impactful role on the team. You’ll excel at hiring, leading, and developing a team of Finance professionals, managing multiple work streams on tight deadlines, and partnering with a wide range of business partners and functions. You demonstrate excellent business judgment and problem solving, and possess strong attention to detail.
Key job responsibilities
• Provide next-level leadership and contribute meaningful insights to executive decision making by driving rigorous analysis, thoughtful prioritization, and long-term thinking.
• Formulate investment models that will provide meaningful impact on the business decision making.
• Provide insight into key AWS customer segments by collaborating with external and internal stakeholders.
• Work across sales teams to ensure transparent use of resources, and collaborate on ways to drive both increased productivity and speed of innovation.
• Create and cultivate the financial discipline to ensure delivery of goals (e.g. budgets, productivity) and adherence to policy and controls.
• Lead and develop a team of 4-6 finance professionals.
