Senior (Sr.) Content Producer, Georgia Power Economic Development
We are looking for a content producer to join our Economic Development team. You’ll help us bring new businesses and jobs to Georgia with your love for stories and knack for bringing them to life across all channels, including SelectGeorgia.com.
You’ll work in the heart of Midtown Atlanta at Technology Square.
We’ll count on you to:
- Be our expert in all things content marketing – social, web, and digital and even our physical space, The Georgia Experience Center (GEC).
- Proactively find and develop ideas for compelling written and visual content.
- Write and curate stories that are optimized for search and user experience.
- Position our team as experts in their fields by creating content that connects with our audiences.
- Help increase lead generation by capturing leads at trade shows and events with curated content.
- Collaborate with our Marketing Program Manager to make compelling content and increase awareness of our Economic Development services.
- Manage, maintain, and optimize our social media presence, including LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, and other relevant channels.
As our Marketing Content Producer, you will:
- Write stories and adapt them for use across all digital channels.
- Support our lead generation strategy with content creation for specific audiences based on their needs.
- Partner with subject matter experts and leverage market data to develop content themes/topics.
- Lead and maintain our brand voice and identity and partner with Corporate Affairs.
- Create and manage invitations for events as well as SWAG ideas.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and changes in content marketing and SEO.
- Create content that engages customers and generates new business leads, including:
+ Social media campaigns
+ Blogs
+ Landing pages
+ Tradeshows
+ Videos
+ Bios for the team
+ Photography
+ Sharing best practices & storytelling
+ Print collateral
+ Ads
+ Invitations
+ Infographics
You’ll have:
- At least 3 to 6 years’ experience developing content for a brand.
- Professional experience copywriting.
- An understanding of SEO, content development, distribution, and measurement.
- An understanding of best practices of social media channels, including which content and approaches work on each.
- Experience with a content management system.
- The proven ability to create content that draws an audience.
- The ability to generate story ideas and develop story projects.
