One Community team as a full-time
Inclusion Specialist. In this vital role, you’ll help expand access to care, promote health literacy, and empower individuals through education and awareness. If you're compassionate, community-minded, and committed to making a real difference, we want to hear from you.
What You’ll Do
The One Community Inclusion Specialist is primarily responsible for planning, scheduling and programming targeted inclusive events throughout the catchment area that are open to the public (e.g. Inclusion Day at the Trillium Playgrounds, local inclusive hiking programs on local community trails, targeting IDD day programs and other inclusive events and promotions at community-based locations). The Inclusion Specialist will work with provider agencies who deliver I/DD services so that their clientele may also be invited to appropriate events according to the age of the members they serve. Work hours are flexible and will vary based on scheduled events, with occasional weekend availability required.

What We’re Looking For
To join our team as the Inclusion Specialist you must have working relationships with community referrals, the ability to manage multiple projects, great communication skills, and a passion to help others. We also require the following:
- High School diploma or GED required
- Possess experience, either lived or through no less than three years work experience with the I/DD population.
- Maintain valid NC driver’s license and auto insurance for personal and agency vehicles utilized for work
