Do you have a passion for making a real difference in the lives of people living with mental health and substance use challenges? At Easterseals PORT Health, we’re seeking a compassionate and dedicated
Intern to join our team in Greenville, NC. As a valued member of our collaborative and supportive team, you will work together to transform the lives of individuals by providing a comprehensive range of services that treat the whole person and empower patients to find their way forward.
What You’ll Do
Easterseals PORT Health provides one-on-one and group counseling for clients with substance abuse and/or behavioral issues. As an intern, you will complete your rotations, practicum or internship as part of our treatment team. You will maintain clinical documentation according to program and Medicaid standards regarding service provision, assessment, and progress reports in a supportive environment focused on your growth and learning as well as patient healing.

What We’re Looking For
To join our team,
you must be currently enrolled in a Human Services program. To be successful in your internship, you must possess the below skills:
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office and internet applications
- Strong interpersonal skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to carry out assigned projects to completion
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
