Overview
AbilityLinks is seeking a short-term IT & Data Systems Consultant to help evaluate and strengthen our current data and reporting infrastructure. This role will focus on reviewing existing platforms, improving data flow and reporting, and setting up a sustainable system that can be maintained internally after the contract concludes.
Key Responsibilities
- Review current data systems and tools (e.g., job board platform, Google Analytics, project management/CRM tools, email marketing, and ads)
- Assess overall data architecture and identify gaps or inefficiencies
- Help define key performance indicators (KPIs) aligned with organizational, board, and funder reporting needs
- Support the creation of basic dashboards, reports, or data funnels (job seekers and employers)
- Document processes and provide recommendations for long-term sustainability
- Conduct a brief knowledge transfer or training for staff at project completion
Ideal Experience
- Background in IT systems, data analytics, or digital infrastructure
- Experience working with nonprofits or mission-driven organizations preferred
- Familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, CRMs, dashboards, or job board platforms
- Ability to translate technical concepts into clear, practical guidance
