This position is responsible for leading the implementation and management of the CARE Program, including oversight of vendor relationships, contracts, and compliance. The role also provides critical support to regulatory affairs and financial planning teams, ensuring effective coordination and execution of regulatory filings and rate case development.
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead all efforts around CARE Program implementation, management, vendor relationships, contracts, and compliance.
- Assist the Manager, State Regulatory Affairs in assigning, tracking, and reviewing all data requests (DRs).
- Participate as a supporting subject matter expert in rate case discussions with Staff.
- Coordinate the send-out and follow-up of R-Y-G monthly spreadsheet entries, and work with appropriate Directors on follow-up and adding new goals.
- Coordinate with the FP&A team on rate case development, including capital budget coordination, O&M requests, and variance analyses from test year actuals to rate year budget, in anticipation of multiple rate cases and other large regulatory filings.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills )
- Experience in program management, preferably in utility or regulatory environments.
- Strong understanding of regulatory affairs, financial planning, and analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to manage vendor relationships and contracts.
- Excellent organizational and coordination skills, especially in handling multiple projects and deadlines.
- Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in capital budgeting, O&M requests, and variance analysis.
- Ability to serve as a subject matter expert in rate case discussions and regulatory processes.
