JOB SUMMARY
The Corporate Sponsorships and Social Media Supervisor is responsible for strategically leading social media and corporate sponsorship efforts to support business priorities, strengthen the brand, and engage customers during high impact moments.
This role serves as a connector across the organization—translating enterprise priorities into integrated social media content and sponsorship strategies, coordinating closely with Brand Strategy, Media, and internal stakeholders, and ensuring execution aligns with business goals, values, and governance requirements.
Success in this role requires strong enterprise awareness, proactive planning, relationship building, and people leadership. The supervisor must lead with strategy—not operate in a silo—and ensure their team understands both what to execute and why it matters.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in in communications, marketing, public relations, or a related field preferred.
Experience:
- Experience developing social media content that aligns with business strategy is required
- High level of proficiency managing social media platforms and content publishing tools is required
- Strong understanding of how social media and sponsorships support business strategy is required
- Ability to integrate brand, media, and business priorities into cohesive plans
- Proactive leadership and planning, especially during high pressure situations
- Strong relationship building and stakeholder management skills
- Disciplined execution with attention to process, governance, and deadlines
- Ability to use performance data and insights to inform decisions
- Proven people leadership and employee development skills
MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Enterprise & Brand Alignment:
- Maintain strong awareness of company initiatives, priorities, and issues to ensure alignment across all social media and sponsorship activity
- Ensure content and sponsorships consistently reflect brand standards, values, and business needs
- Translate business goals into clear strategic direction for the team
Social Media Strategy & Leadership:
- Develop and execute strategic social media plans aligned with enterprise priorities
- Lead proactive planning for high visibility moments (e.g., storms, major initiatives)
- Coordinate closely with Brand Strategy and Media to align earned and owned channels
- Identify opportunities for content efficiency, sharing, and optimization
- Monitor performance metrics and insights to improve engagement and effectiveness
- Deliver post initiative analysis, insights, and best practices
Corporate Sponsorship Strategy & Execution:
- Identify, evaluate, and recommend corporate sponsorship opportunities aligned with business objectives, brand needs, and budgets
- Assess sponsorships holistically, including branding value, customer impact, internal relationships, and governance requirements
- Engage internal stakeholders at appropriate stages to build alignment and buy in
- Lead end to end sponsorship execution, ensuring all process steps and deadlines are met
- Provide clear, strategic recommendations to leadership
Cross Functional Collaboration:
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal stakeholders
- Ensure work is coordinated across teams rather than executed in silos
- Use high impact moments to strengthen trust, alignment, and credibility
People Leadership & Development:
- Lead, develop, and coach employees to build judgment, capability, and confidence
- Share strategic vision and context so the team understands priorities and purpose
- Align team execution with broader enterprise and brand objectives
