HR Labor Relations Analyst - Energy Center
The HR Labor Relations Analyst will report to the Labor Relations Manager. This individual must be detail-oriented and be able to work with sensitive and confidential information. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, supporting the Labor Relations department in conducting job bids and awards for union-covered positions, maintaining union seniority and vacation selection lists, and updating the Labor Relations website. In addition, they will assist with research for discipline and grievance recommendations, manage incremental step increases and promotions for union employees, and provide analysis and insights for Labor Relations. This position will also serve as the backup for the HR Delivery Analyst, cross-training to be able to support in areas such as HR data reporting, People Health Metrics, year-end performance rating data processing, merit and PPP processing for the fleet.
JOB REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Labor Relations or related field preferred.
- Accomplish work in a team environment where successful outcomes are reliant on the work of others.
- Maintain key and confidential data in accordance with internal and external records maintenance requirements
- Experience working with clients/customers to obtain input and use to make decisions

PRIMARY DUTIES:
- Conduct job bids/awards for union covered positions – including creating test requisitions for jobs requiring testing
- Serve as labor outage resource sharing coordinator
- Maintain union seniority lists, vacation selection lists and rolling out lists
- Use system databases and other tools to accomplish duties associated with labor contracts, or other tasks
- Maintain Labor Relations website – update documents as needed (i.e. wage schedules, contracts updates, MOUs, seniority lists, etc.)
- Assist labor relations with certain questions or issues that arise associated with daily events
- Conduct incremental step increases, promotions, boot allowances, license pay changes, bonuses, dues changes, general wage increases, etc. for union covered employees
- Assist with research for discipline and grievance recommendations
- Assist with Fleet projects as necessary
- Other duties as assigned
SECONDARY DUTIES:
- Conduct analysis as needed for HR and Labor Relations and provide insights about the data; provide insights about noticeable trends; set high personal standards for being a go-to resource for true analytics
- Develop People Health Metrics, Headcount reports, and other regularly reported reports or data-sets
- Lead the performance ratings data processing and analysis for executive challenge
- Provide lead support/processing of merit and PPP for the fleet
- Serves as department CAPCO and attend monthly meetings
- Updates the annual pay practices survey and maintain the Pay Practices guideline
- Collaborate with HR Managers to create standard monthly scorecard reports; work with analytics team to execute. Run and analyze reports for each location for review/discussion with HR Managers as needed
- Run license pay and other reports and audit for compliance
- Unemployment claims and hearing (via telephone)
