Job Summary:
This position leads the Warehouse Operations and the Internal Logistics teams in support of the Manufacturing Operation. The facilities currently include two onsite warehouses and one offsite finished goods warehouse. The primary goal of this position is to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products and materials to and from the Manufacturing Operation, while maintaining accurate inventory records using the company chosen ERP system. This position will manage onsite material handlers and other warehouse staff. The Warehouse/Logistics Manager reviews and reports on key metrics regarding the operation of the warehouse to the management team and creates action plans to drive continuous improvement in the overall operation of the teams. The position is responsible for reviewing the cost of storage, cost of logistics determining the best method to keep cost on budget, and that all material and equipment are available when needed
Minimum Qualifications: (Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills)
• Bachelor’s degree preferred or relevant logistics and warehousing experience• 5 years warehouse experience• 5 years supervisory experience• Must be able to safely lift 50 lbs. or more and ascend/descend ladders• Excellent typing skills• Microsoft Excel and Outlook proficiency• ERP experience required• Experience in Inventory Management• Experience developing and maintaining a department budget• Experience with site-to-site replenishment processes.• Start from the ground up creating new facility processes for new site preferred• Excellent oral and written communication skills• Excellent organizational skills• Excellent mathematical skills• Technologically savvy• High attention to detail• Excellent time management• Knowledge of Warehousing best practices and methods• 3PL experience• Experience managing replenishment activities across multiple shifts and operations• 5S and Lean experience
• Ability to manage multiple sites and teams
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Create a safe, clean and organized work environment for team members, that complies with company standards• Review orders and requisitions to determine items to be sourced, distributed and shipped to other buildings• Review storage locations, racks, bins ensuring we utilize the best method of storage.• Ensure timely fulfillment of kitting orders.• Ensure material movement is tracked concisely via company ERP system.• Responsible for stock levels and physical inventory of company distribution centers• May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.• Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.• Fulfillment of site-to-site replenishments on a timely basis.• Review and report on cost of storage and material movement• Develop process to manage internal logistics of manufacturing operation.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and standard warehouse equipment such as forklifts, hand trucks, box cutters, staplers, label makers and tape dispensers.
