Partner with the best
You will own the pursuit and closure of large, complex deals as part of Akamai's expansion into the GPU market. You will operate as a hands-on, senior individual contributor, driving strategic pursuits end-to-end and navigating sophisticated enterprise and cloud sales motions. You will help directly shape Akamai's go-to-market success in a fast-growing and highly strategic market.
As a Strategic Sales Director, you will be responsible for:
- Owning the pursuit and closure of large, complex strategic deals with full accountability for deal strategy, execution, and outcomes.
- Applying knowledge of the GPU and inference cloud ecosystem to position and sell advanced compute solutions.
- Leading complex, cross-functional deal teams by orchestrating stakeholders across sales, product, engineering, legal, finance, and partner organizations.
- Influencing and partnering in a matrixed sales organization, supporting multi-region deal activity.
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 10 years of relevant experience in sales and a Bachelor's degree or its equivalent.
- Demonstrate a successful track record closing large, complex enterprise or cloud deals, including custom solutions and multi-party sales motions.
- Have experience in cloud infrastructure, platforms, or advanced technology solutions, with experience selling into enterprise environments.
- Have demonstrated success operating as a senior individual contributor on high-impact strategic opportunities, with direct accountability for outcomes.
- Enjoy partnering cross functionally globally with sales, product, engineering, legal, and partner teams.
