You'll play an integral part in sales cycles, defining solutions that meet the requirements of our customers. You'll be the advisor and technical expert to facilitate product adoption and account growth for customers.
As a Senior Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Creating sales opportunities by managing the pre-sales technical process and demonstrating Akamai's technology to customers.
- Managing the technical proposal process and ensuring all technical information and recommendations addressing customer requirements are accurate.
- Tracking account activity for business analysis and reporting, designing technical solutions to meet our customer's needs.
- Leading sales activities such as Technical Demos, Customer Analysis Reports (CAR's) and Proof of Concepts (POC's).
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 8 years of experience and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management or Information Systems
- Have experience working in a customer-facing technical solutions pre-sales or post sale role
- Have understanding of the internet, including Cloud Computing, CyberSecurity, WAF, Bot Management, DDoS, TCP/IP, DNS, TLS protocols
- Be a customer advocate passionate about delivering technical solutions.
- Demonstrate experience with presenting technical topics to diverse audiences.
- Be a team player, able to collaborate, prioritize, and solve problems in a fast changing environment
