Quality Assurance Automation Analyst
Location: GPC HQ ( Atlanta, GA) or APC HQ (Birmingham, AL)
Onsite 4 days/week.

Role Overview
The Technology Organization’s Customer Engagement portfolio is seeking a Quality Assurance Analyst to support customer-facing web applications, internal tools, and APIs/middleware, including platforms such as the Property Manager Portal.
This role is embedded within agile scrum teams and is responsible for ensuring high-quality software delivery through a combination of manual testing, test automation, and proactive quality practices. Successful candidates bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset, with the ability to influence quality outcomes through early engagement and clear communication.
This is a hybrid position with an expectation of working onsite (Atlanta or Birmingham) four days per week, with one remote day.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform as an embedded QA member within a SAFe Agile framework, contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement, PI objectives, and team-level quality outcomes
- Design, execute, and document manual test cases for customer-facing web applications, internal tools, and APIs/middleware
- Develop, maintain, and execute automated tests as part of an established automation framework
- Partner with Product Owners and Developers during backlog grooming and refinement to clarify requirements and define acceptance criteria
- Perform regression testing, release validation, and UAT support for production deployments
- Log, track, troubleshoot, and clearly document defects with sufficient detail to support efficient resolution
- Validate data integrity and mine test data using SQL queries as part of functional and integration testing
- Maintain testing artifacts and evidence to support traceability and quality validation
- Communicate testing progress, risks, and quality concerns clearly and proactively
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing practices, tools, and processes
Tools & Technologies
- Agile & Work Management : SAFe Agile framework, Jira
- Test Management : Xray integrated with Jira is a plus
- Test Automation: Tricentis Tosca
- API Testing: Postman
- Databases: SQL for data validation
- Testing Focus: Balanced manual and automated testing, incremental automation, regression and release validation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred, with emphasis in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or a related technology field
- 2+ years of experience testing web applications and APIs
- Experience with structured software testing methodologies
- Experience with automated regression testing and application quality management tools
- Experience writing or reviewing SQL queries for data validation
- Experience working with Oracle Utilities Customer to Meter (C2M) is a plus
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, SAFe experience is a plus
Certifications
- Tricentis Tosca experience
- Tricentis Tosca certifications (AS1 and AS2) preferred
