The Product Delivery Director serves as the ART-level Product Manager for the Enterprise Foundations Agile Release Train, accountable for defining and delivering the ART’s vision, strategy, and value to the business for our Financial Systems. As a leader of leaders, this position directly oversees a management team of 7 managers and has overall responsibility for more than 40 employees and contract resources. Product Delivery Director drives the execution of large-scale, cross-functional initiatives using Agile and SAFe principles, ensuring all product teams within the ART are aligned with business objectives and stakeholder needs. The Product Delivery Director leads PI Planning, manages the ART backlog, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and high performance. This position is responsible for coaching and developing leaders, collaborating with peer directors in technology & the business, and ensuring the ART delivers measurable outcomes that advance the organization’s strategic goals. The Product Delivery Director reports to the Director of Enterprise Foundations.
Responsibilities:
+ Serve as the ART-Level Product Manager, accountable for the end-to-end delivery and value realization of the Agile Release Train. Ensure alignment of all product teams within the ART to business outcomes and strategic objectives.
+ Define and communicate the vision, roadmap, and priorities for the ART, working closely with Release Train Engineers (RTEs), Solution Architects, and Business Owners.
+ Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of agile projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring adherence to project objectives, timelines, and budget
+ Champion SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) practices and principles, ensuring the ART operates with a focus on continuous improvement, transparency, and value delivery
+ Collaborate with Solution Architects, RTEs, Business Owners, and other ART stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery of ART objectives.
- Leader of Leaders – Product Management
+ Overall accountability for all product alignments to business process, ensuring support for the products to meet business needs, and confirm with other leaders within Enterprise Foundation organization that all dependent support operations will meet the needs of the business process managers and their stakeholders
+ Ensure the development of product roadmaps to show how technology will meet or exceed the expectations of the business process managers
+ Provide direct oversight for our product managers to ensure coordinated delivery of solutions across our multiple enterprise platforms.
+ Collaborate with product manager to refine and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring alignment with business goals
+ Coach and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture
+ Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships within the business and our vendors to meet business needs with product capabilities.
+ Demonstrated ability to manage priorities with the vendor on business needs, advocate for company’s priorities, and maintain a strong partnership with vendor.
+ Broad product knowledge across multiple vendors with ability to connect the dots between product capabilities and business needs to help their leaders build strategic roadmaps and plans.
+ Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and techniques to enhance the product delivery process based on active engagement in the industry and user communities.

+ Track and communicate project progress, risks, and issues to stakeholders, ensuring transparency and enabling informed decision-making
+ Facilitate the development and manage large budget over 20+ million in labor, software, and other technology spend
+ Demonstrated ability to lead a team of leaders through change
+ Strong executive presence and recognized ability to communicate at the appropriate level
+ Facilitate effective communication and collaboration between team members, business stakeholders, and other departments
+ Identify and mitigate project risks, complexities, and dependencies in a proactive manner
+ Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the team and across the organization
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (master's degree preferred)
- Demonstrated experience (5+ years) in agile project management or product management roles
- Experience operating within a Scaled Agile (SAFe) environment is preferred
- Enterprise cloud-based application experience; Preferably Oracle-based products;
- Demonstrated experience (5+ years) product knowledge of Oracle, PowerPlan, Vertex, and other technology solutions leverage by the Enterprise Foundations team both on premise and cloud;
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Experience coaching and mentoring teams, promoting self-organization and continuous improvement
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to quickly adapt to changing project needs
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, while ensuring quality and timeliness of deliverables
Knowledge of the utility or energy industry (preferred)
