Information Systems Analyst
Position Summary
The Information Systems Analyst is responsible for supporting Power Delivery Contract Services by working with large datasets and various programs to provide actionable insights that support our business. This role involves working closely on projects with internal and external stakeholders while identifying trends, managing departmental reports, and developing data-driven solutions that improve operational efficiency and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, clean, and validate data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy and reliability.
Manage, repair, and analyze datasets for proper record keeping and functionality.
Develop and maintain departmental data within in-house and third-party software. Including program development and dashboard/report creation using tools such as Power BI, OutSystems, Excel, etc.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and report insights.
Perform ad-hoc analysis and present findings to stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or comparable field experience.
5+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence.
Proficiency in writing SQL code and experience with data visualization tools (Power BI).
Strong knowledge of SQL Server Management Studio
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills for presenting complex data insights to non-technical audiences.
Ideal Qualifications
Experience with OutSystems
Exposure to ArcPro Software/GIS
Exposure to Python and designing web applications
Knowledge of Oracle databases
Knowledge of vegetation management and it’s role within electric utilities

- Data Accuracy Rate: Achieve and maintain a high level of data accuracy in all validated datasets.
- Report Delivery Timeliness: Deliver scheduled reports and dashboards on time each month.
- Stakeholder Satisfaction: Maintain a high level of stakeholder satisfaction with monthly communications.
- Insight Utilization: Ensure communicated insights lead to actionable business decisions within given milestones.
- Automation Efficiency: Reduce manual reporting tasks where appropriate through automation.
- Ad-hoc Request Turnaround: Complete 90% of ad-hoc analysis requests within 48 hours for standard queries.
Working Location
APC Corporate Headquarters - Birmingham, AL. Occasional travel for meetings or training.
