SUMMARY

As a growing organization with a commitment to solutions in retina care, we are expanding our commercial organization with a critical position - Manager, Strategic Advocacy.

This role will support the Director, Strategic Advocacy by assisting in managing the non-clinical business relationships with large privately-owned retina practices, private equity owned retina / ophthalmology practice leadership, large, consolidated practices that span multiple geographies, and community private practices.  The primary focus will be to educate these target customers on Alimera’s non-clinical program as well as enroll customers into the program database, communicate with Finance, and answer any program related questions from practice contact.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Coordinate program communication across account base
  • Provide support to targeted practices, enhancing customer experience through proactive engagement

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE

  • Assures an exceptional program onboarding experience.
  • Communicate, by email or phone, with program participants regarding eligibility and status.
  • Proficient in customer service with a strong understanding of program business rules.
  • Coordinate CRM inputs and data analytics, with Finance functions both internally and externally with clients.
  • Leverages available data, analytics, and other content to support customers.
  • Prepares and delivers reports and presentations, and attends meeting as required.
  • Support and maintain ongoing business relationships with practices and their account managers.
  • Collaborate and work closely with other internal operating functions. 
  • Be the voice of the customer to the Alimera organization.
  • Passionate, driven, and able to maintain a positive attitude.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Proven customer relationship and conflict resolution skills.
  • Aptitude to investigate complaints for facts and recommend resolutions in a timely manner.
  • Excellent attention-to-detail and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
  • Assist in hand-off of customer returns and claims in a timely manner and initiate corrective action if necessary.
  •  Participate in cross-functional projects impacting the roll and the organization.
  • Experience in inside sales, account management, or customer service, or related experience.
