What you get to do:

  • Provide exemplary Service and ensure Culinary Standards of Service are met including resolving guest concerns, investigating and providing recommendations to correct reoccurring guest issues, ensuring all team members are providing the highest level of guest courtesy, recognizing and rewarding team members who provide exemplary service
  • Track daily inventory and complete orders based on facility needs
  • Manage daily operations of assigned location throughout the day including assuring all areas open on time, proper food levels are kept throughout the day, maintaining guest area cleanliness, ensuring all stations are properly staffed throughout the day
  • Monitor and control labor and cost-of-sales by assuring food items are properly dated, recipes are followed, portioning is correct and food items are plated properly
  • Communicate operational issues including equipment failure, product related problems and facility integrity concerns to management
  • Manage daily sub-department labor, daily break rotations, and daily staffing assignments
  • Assist Culinary Operation manager with the training of team members and assistant supervisors while ensuring and complying with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards including conducting facility trainings at each location
  • Supervise and counsel team members and assistant supervisors will ensuring proper training and development in accordance with SEA guidelines
  • Complete appropriate paperwork and administer developmental documentation.
  • Responsible for accurately recording team member labor hours and maintaining various labor reports
  • Ensure compliance of Child Labor Laws with regards to breaks, lunches, and hours worked per day

What else is important:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Possesses at least six (6) months of leadership experience or equivalent external experience
  • No significant performance deficiencies within a 1 year period
  • Must be able to hold a RAMP certification
  • Maintain food quality and sanitation standards to prevent cross- contamination while upholding the SEA safety guidelines
  • Establish and maintain a positive atmosphere which ensures the highest level of team member
  • Comply with the area opening and closing procedures and ensure all team members and assistant supervisor complete tasks within a timely manner.
  • Consistently practice safe work habits including the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), lifting and reporting unsafe situations
  • Ability to make rational decisions independently and implement changes in the operation when appropriate
  • Ability to be a focused individual who can complete tasks independently, but also possess the ability to work within a group and lead multiple personnel
  • Posses strong knowledge of department standards and health and food safety regulations
  • Ability to be knowledgeable in all areas of the department including team member and supervisory roles
  • Possesses an overall understanding of daily operations (kitchen, front and back areas), procedures and staff positions
  • Possess the ability to pro-actively plan daily operations and staff positions
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
  • Position is contingent upon successful completion of the ServSafe Food Manager certification class and exam
  • Ability to successfully complete all legal, company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timelines
  • Willingness to comply and ensure all team members comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards
